Brief
A giant sponge cake, sculpted into the shape of a typical Irish meadow, features lush grass, rolling hills, hedgerows, a pond, a farmhouse, and a barn. Completing this idyllic scene are 100 individually handcrafted fondant dairy cows. This remarkable creation was on display in the heart of London's financial district, aiming to bring a touch of the countryside to the busy lives of city workers.
Creation
A four-meter-long sponge cake, filled with buttercream using 40 kilograms of Kerrygold butter, featured rolling hills and was surrounded by edible dairy cows crafted from sugar paste. This impressive creation was laid out on Finsbury Avenue Square, the heart of London's Financial District, and distributed to approximately 4,000 London city workers during their lunch break.
