London Heathrow Airport in Gingerbread

Christmas celebration at London Heathrow

Brief

The brief was to create a gingerbread installation depicting various buildings, including the control tower at Terminal 5 of London Heathrow Airport, Europe's largest airport.

This festive installation was designed to bring Christmas spirit to passengers departing and arriving during the holiday season.

Creation

This impressive gingerbread installation, measuring 5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, was a centerpiece at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. Creating this masterpiece required over 200 hours of meticulous work from Michelle and resulted in a creation weighing approximately 50 kilograms.

This gingerbreads replicated Heathrow's four terminals, the runways, and the control tower. It also featured Doris and Edward Bair, the beloved stars of Heathrow's Christmas advert, adding a touch of festive magic to the installation.
